I'm looking for either someone who's got a place I can move into, or someone who would be a good roommate, and we can find a place together. I would prefer to live with 1-3 females, or possibly in a larger coop. I am 23 and looking for roommates in their 20's.
I don't want to spend more than $600 a month, and I'd like to be in Watertown, Newton, Cambridge, or Allston. I work in Natick and want to be within half an hour of work, which probably means near the pike. I'd like to move as soon as possible, but I don't have a set date that I need to leave my current home, so I'll move whenever I find the right people and place.
The most important thing to me is to be living with roommates who will be friends. I'm independent, but I like to be close with people and create a real home (filled with art!). I have two exceedingly lovable indoor cats (both spayed). More cats are welcome.
My job is editing and writing for English and Fine Arts textbooks. Writing is my passion. Currently, I'm working on my first novel, so I spend long, happy hours on my computer. I eat all organic. It would be nice if my roommates do too, but it's not a requirement. I love dressing up and dancing (used to go to Manray). I enjoy deep, thought-provoking conversation, especially about spirituality, metaphysics, and patterns in the psyche. I can also be very silly. My spirituality is based on the earth and the divine feminine, but not on any deities. World travel is one of my goals. Snuggling up for movies sometimes is great, but I don't watch TV and wouldn't like having one on regularly in shared space. I love simple things, like playing on swings or running out in the rain or going out just to wander and see what we find. And of course, I'm a Burner (been 3 times!)
'm balanced, honest, and self-aware. Honest, open, and considerate communication is very important to me. Positive thinking is too. As I write this, I'm imagining it being read by incredible people who I will be very happy living with. I can't wait!
